[NoHo Arts District, CA] – The third part of Mary Guillermin’s show The Island Queen: Part III of Love on the Other Side of Death, developed with and directed by Jessica Lynn Johnson has its premiere performance on Sunday, November 9 at 4.30pm at Soaring Solo’s The Stars Series.
About The Island Queen: Part III of Love on the Other Side of Death
What are past lives? How do such stories relate to the present-day? How can we undo bad karma? When Mary adopted Michael, a young man of 35 half her age in 2022, she didn’t know he would die suddenly two years later. And she certainly didn’t know that the Island Queen who intruded into Mary’s life in 2021 was also the mother of a son connected to Michael’s soul.
Part III of Love on the Other Side of Death traces the interweaving of these lifetimes and shows how actions taken in this life dissolved the karma from the past.
Part II previously explored the Sacred Archetypes of Mother and Son while Part III will fully explore the Queen and Prince archetypes through storytelling infused with multimedia that visually and aurally support the story telling.
“In 2019 when I first wrote my play, Love on the Other Side of Death, about grief and the magical interaction with my husband, John Guillermin, film director, after his death in 2015, I had no idea that that play was to become the first of three.”
Mary Guillermin is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, as well as a playwright and collage artist. She uses her own unique Sacred Archetypes Collage cards to give spiritual guidance and is the editor and lead writer of an award-winning book, John Guillermin: The Man, The Myth, The Movies, available on Amazon.
