[NoHo Arts District, CA] – Carla Delaney brings The Peacock and the Crab, a dark comedy using fantasy, humor and heart to explore themes of healing to Soaring Solo’s The Stars Series on November 8.
About The Peacock and the Crab
Grace, a children’s book author with writer’s block, visits a floatation tank in hopes of unsticking what’s been stuck. But the unexpected happens. An earthquake hits! When the ground crumbles, Grace free falls into the ocean, where she meets two unlikely shipmates; a meek crab and a mighty peacock. As Grace begins to suspect she’s trapped in a storybook with no ending, the three surprising friends embark on an aquatic adventure to discover who’s really writing their destinies.
Will Grace learn to ride the tides from trauma to tranquility, or will the dangers of the deep blue prove to be more perilous than her own subconscious undoing?
