Los Angeles Pierce College Theatre continues its 2021-2022 Season December 3 with Jennifer Maisel’s new drama, “Eight Nights.” Performances run Friday, December 3 through Sunday, December 12, 2021 in LAPC’s Dow Arena Theatre.
Set in one apartment in New York over the span of several generations, “Eight Nights” follows the poignant journey of a German Jewish refugee and her family in this heartfelt portrait of a woman haunted by the past but resiliently moving toward the future. The play calls out the trauma experienced not only by concentration camp survivors, but by African American descendants of slavery, interned Japanese Americans, and current refugees from Africa and the Middle East.
