20th Annual HopeWalk Kid’s Healthy Activity Fair

Hands4Hope LA’s 20th annual HopeWalk Kid’s Healthy Activity Fair to benefit free after-school programs for at-risk youth in North Hollywood on Saturday, August 14.

The non-profit organization Hands4Hope LA (H4HLA) hosts its 20th Annual HopeWalk on August 14 to benefit the children of the San Fernando Valley. The goal of the organization is to provide outreach to youth ages 8-18 through its FREE after-school programs in North Hollywood. The Hands4Hope LA organization also hosts a program which provides free information and resources to parents.

Hands4Hope LA’s FREE after-school program begins August 17 and you can sign your child up for at HopeWalk Kid’s Healthy Activity Fair.

While there is an abundance of organizations that target inner city youth, Hands4Hope LA founder, Lydia Floyd found it necessary to build a base for the support of the multi-cultural children of North Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley. HopeWalk is a community event designed to promote nutrition and healthy activities to children and families while raising the necessary funding to continue to offer all H4HLA programs to the public for free. There will be safe, socially distanced, engaging fitness activities for kids to win toys and prizes. The kids will also get lunch, backpacks, school supplies and more.  There will be music by DJ Pascha to motivate and inspire the kids to move and be active.

Current Sponsors include North  Hollywood East Neighborhood Council, North Hollywood Neighborhood Council, County Supervisor  Sheila Kuehl, Councilmember Paul Krekorian, Sparkletts, Endemol Shine and more.
