While there is an abundance of organizations that target inner city youth, Hands4Hope LA founder, Lydia Floyd found it necessary to build a base for the support of the multi-cultural children of North Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley. HopeWalk is a community event designed to promote nutrition and healthy activities to children and families while raising the necessary funding to continue to offer all H4HLA programs to the public for free. There will be safe, socially distanced, engaging fitness activities for kids to win toys and prizes. The kids will also get lunch, backpacks, school supplies and more. There will be music by DJ Pascha to motivate and inspire the kids to move and be active.
Current Sponsors include North Hollywood East Neighborhood Council, North Hollywood Neighborhood Council, County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl, Councilmember Paul Krekorian, Sparkletts, Endemol Shine and more.
