[NoHo Arts District, CA] – Kami Dimitrova’s Kami Girl, Let’s Go, Tonight!, directed by Connor Bowen, serves up absurd laughs and heartfelt chaos at the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2025.
About Kami Girl, Let’s Go, Tonight!
Get ready for a clown-fueled fever dream in Kami Girl, Let’s Go, Tonight!, a solo comedy written and performed by Kami Dimitrova, making its debut at the 2025 Hollywood Fringe Festival.
Equal parts unhinged and heartfelt, this Borat-meets-I Love Lucy experience promises a wildly funny ride full of physical comedy, music, and absurd character work.
Set in a fictional Bulgarian eatery, Kami Girl tells the story of a mediocre waitress constantly demoted by her father at Cafe Papa Restaurant. But her passion for singing keeps derailing her job—and her life. Featuring live piano and riotous clowning, Kami’s performance is “dumb in the smartest possible way.”
“This show is a love letter to all the immigrant kids who at one point had to tell their parents they don’t want to be a lawyer because they like how acting makes them feel,” says Dimitrova. “It’s stupid, it’s physical, it’s deeply personal—and there’s a live piano. What more do you want?”
