[NoHo Arts District, CA] – Sardia Robinson brings her award-winning, one-woman play FROM A YARDIE TO A YANKEE to Theatre West on May 17 only to raise funds for families devastated by the Eaton Fire.

As the Eaton Fire killed at least 17 people and destroyed more than 9,000 buildings, becoming the fifth deadliest and the second most destructive wildfire in California history, one unfortunate Haitian-American family of 10 lost four homes in the fire and is struggling to survive, as evidenced on their GoFundMe page.
One LA resident has sprung into action to help. LA resident and Jamaican-born actress, writer, and director Sardia Robinson, along with Theatre West and LA-based myKeetv Magazine, is producing a one-time return of the award-winning, one-woman play FROM A YARDIE TO A YANKEE as a fundraiser for the affected family. Robinson will perform free of charge and Theatre West has offered the theatre free of charge to help make this event possible, with all funds going to support the family.
