Los Angeles Pierce College Theatre will conclude its 2021-2022 season with “American Alien,” a devised collaboration by Shaheen Vaaz with L.A. Pierce College students and community.
“American Alien” is a devised theatre piece that has been created through collaboration about Immigration in America now. From inception to completion, our student and community team, led by director Shaheen Vaaz, is bringing to life a complex and dynamic piece that examines Immigration in our world. Through interviews, improvisations, and explorations in our neighboring communities, through spoken word and found music, we will bring you an innovative, original new theatre work that speaks to our shared obsession and collective pain surrounding immigration.
