What a gorgeous voice Lyia Meta has. Deep, bluesy, soulful, jazzy and totally unexpected. Lyia Meta is a multiple award-winning recording artist from Malaysia with an incredible range and a voice that you will find hard to forget.
Always You is a wonderful selection of heartbreaking ballads. Love songs sung with a deep emotional connection to the music. I have to admit I have not heard Lyia Meta’s music before, despite her enormous international success. But this album, with gorgeous big orchestrated production, old school style – Sinatra-like – is really incredibly good.
If you are looking for your next obsession, I might just have found her for you. Lyia Meta might be the best-kept secret, but I think the time is right for everyone to know her wonderful music and her iconic and timeless voice.
