How I’m Coping

We all know what’s going on with the world today and with that, we experience and cope differently.

I’m one who goes every day.  Like many, my free time is spent running daily errands.  Marketing, banking, post office, etc., along with occasional walk.  But today, all that has come to a screeching halt.  What are we to do?

Well, I for one have taken much more to social media for communication.  I still text, email and actually talk on the phone.  But that only goes so far for me.  And I can only watch so much tv or even read.

I’m completing projects around the house which is what satisfies me for now.  I’ve found the time to work on the little things.  Here’s what I’m doing.

  1. Moved art and accessory pillows around the living room. Gives the room a new feeling.
  2. Cleaned out my closet. I donated clothes and shoes I no longer wore.  The extra room allowed me to really organize it.  I organize by shirt style and then color.  Same with my pants.
  3. I finally added that third coat of paint in my guest bathroom. Looks so much better.
  4. I did spring cleaning. Washed down walls, cleaned baseboards, organized under the bathroom vanities, added new drawer liners and cleaned chandeliers. Did some touch up painting on trim and baseboards.

I’m sure there’s more to do, but this is enough for now.  As I opened with, we all cope differently.  This list is what makes me happy and gets me through this time at home.  If it doesn’t work for you, that’s OK.  We all find our own way.  Just stay safe and be healthy.

Enjoy!
