The All Roses Company presents the world premiere of “Unheard Voices 2 – Women of Antiquity” as part of The Whitefire Theatre’s Solofest on Sunday, March 6 at 7:00 pm. It is for one performance only. Running time is 90 minutes with no intermission.
“Unheard Voices” is a series of monologue plays by J. S. Bellatore. Each monologue is based on a woman from history whose story has not been told… until now. This evening will feature three monologues: Eve, from “The Book of Genesis,” Helen of Troy, familiar from “The Iliad” and other Greek classics, and Pope Joan, a legendary woman of the Middle Ages who disguised herself as a man and entered a monastery to have access to books and was eventually elected Pope John VIII.
The production features Liz Spruell as Eve, Krystyna Walters as Helen of Troy and Mo Beatty as Pope Joan, directed by Ralph Tropf, Executive Producer of The All Roses Company. The playwright is J. S. Bellatore.
