Trout
Stanley
Trout Stanley is a lightly
metaphysical, darkly comic
glimpse into the aberrations
of love. Trout Stanley
inveigles his way into the
backwoods home of the
notorious Ducharme twins,
Sugar and Grace, and
violates their strange
marriage. Is he the lost
soul he claims to be? Or is
he the embodiment of "the
Beast within?"
Presented by White Buffalo
Theater Company.
Written by Canadian
playwright Claudia Dey and
directed by Kerrie Keane.

About
Deaf West Theatre
Deaf West
Theatre, Inc., was founded
in 1991 to directly improve
and enrich the cultural
lives of the 1.2 million
deaf and hard-of-hearing
individuals in Los Angeles.
In a bold effort to bridge
the gap between deaf and
hearing worlds, Deaf West
Theatre creates new
opportunities for artists
and audiences to enjoy
theatre through the medium
of Sign Language Theatre
with simultaneous
translation in English. Our
productions have featured
multi-award winning artists
and have earned over 60
prestigious entertainment
industry awards for artistic
and technical merit. As the
first professional permanent
residential sign language
theatre west of the
Mississippi, Deaf West
Theatre draws audiences from
the western region of the
United States, and deaf
artists from all across
country and around the
world. We serves a
culturally diverse community
of deaf, hard of hearing and
hearing adults, children and
seniors through local and
national theatrical
productions, Saturday
morning storytelling and
other educational outreach
programs.
