LAPC THEATRE CONTINUES 60TH ANNIVERSARY SEASON WITH
Los Angeles Pierce College Theatre’s 2017-2018 Season (the theatre’s 60th anniversary) will continue in March with Federico García Lorca’s modern classic, Blood Wedding. Performances begin Friday, March 23 and continue through Sunday, April 1, 2018 in LAPC’s Dow Arena Theatre.
When a young bride-to-be receives a visit from a former paramour on her wedding day, a family blood feud threatens the celebration and sparks a deadly dance of love and deception, family and revenge, beauty and betrayal. Federico García Lorca - one of Spain’s most revered and controversial dramatists - dared open a seductive tale of passion and vendetta in a rural Spanish community, one that speaks to any heart longing for true connection.
LAPC Theatre’s production of Blood Wedding will be directed by Valorie Grear. The cast features Josh Celaya, Emely Chavez, Jasmine Curry, Gabriella Falcone, Laura Goldstein, Elyse Hamilton, Collin Hollander, Joni Leigh, Michael Messiha, Isaac Montoya, Kimmy Moreno, Oscar Olivares, Hannah Phillips, Walter Ramalho, Celine Reyes, Bryan Rojas, Josh T. Ryan, Sarah Scott Ryan and Karolina Stumpf. Jordan Davoodzadeh is the stage manager.
