The Group Rep presents Brian Stanton’s award-winning, critically acclaimed play BLANK directed by McKerrin Kelly, a solo show which explores adoption and identity. Playing 12 characters, adoptee Brian Stanton embarks on a quest for identity, ultimately discovering the horrific truth of his birth, an instinctive love for his birth mother, and a grateful dedication to his adoptive family.
Succeeding BLANK, Patti Hawn, sister of legendary film actress Goldie Hawn, will stage readings with Stanton from her brave literary debut Good Girls Don't bringing a birthmother's perspective of her teenage pregnancy, the loss of her son to adoption, and the search to reunite 40 years later.
