The FPAC (The Foothill Performing Arts Council) was founded in 1998, by Artistic Director and award-winning entertainment industry veteran Timothy J Borquez, with the mission to “… maintain the legacy of the performing arts in the East San Fernando Valley communities, stretching from La Crescenta to Sylmar, including Burbank, Sun Valley & No-Ho”.
Along with fellow entertainment industry friends and partners (artists & technicians), Borquez and The FPAC have produced or co-produced a dozen productions and musical events in its 20 years, collaborating with talent from all over the Southern California region.
Over the years, The FPAC has provided mentoring and internship opportunities in musical and technical theatre to several dozen students and young performers through its Young Performers’ Workshops, in local high schools, as well as through it’s mainstage productions. Some of The FPAC's musical productions include: Pippin, Working, Guys & Dolls, Godspell, Two Gentlemen of Verona, the musical, The Spitfire Grill, musical and it’s No-Ho premiere of the song cycle, The Theory of Relativity.
The FPAC was most recently recognized with (14) 2018 Valley Theatre Award nominations for its productions of Two Gentlemen of Verona, the musical and The Spitfire Grill, musical garnering awards for "Best Actress in a musical" and "Best Featured Actor in a musical”, for The Spitfire Grill.
