Upcoming shows:  Friday, March 2.

Yachtley Crew is Southern California's first-class tribute to the best soft rock of the 70s and 80s, also now known as "Yacht Rock," which is a sub-category of the highly polished brand of smooth and easy music listened to by yuppies while sipping champagne and partying on their yachts. Somewhere along the way, it was also once referred to as "west coast rock". If you like bands such as Eagles, Toto, Hall and Oates, Steely Dan, Bozz Scaggs, Christopher Cross, Little River Band, Gerry Rafferty, 10CC, Ace, Commodores, Michael McDonald, Doobie Brothers, Billy Ocean, Jackson Browne, Exile, George Michael and Player, then you'll truly appreciate the live performances from this group.

Yachtley Crew puts on a complete show with dynamic sound, superior lighting effects, choreographed dancing, on-stage banter, jokes, audience participation, and a lot of other surprises we cannot even mention here! The yacht rock style of music is appealing to all age groups as it is essentially the soundtrack of our lives. Whether you're in your 20s or approaching 100, you will be entertained every time.

Yachtley Crew, the

Recent performances include: The House of Blues (Anaheim & San Diego), The Viper Room (Hollywood), The Canyon Club (Agoura), The Rose (Pasadena), Borderline (Thousand Oaks), Copper Blues (Oxnard), Bombay Bar (Ventura), StillWater (Dana Point), Saint Rocke (Hermosa), a variety of festivals around SoCal, and several private events (weddings, parties, corporate functions, etc.).

i heard about yachtley crew a couple of months ago from this very newsletter, so thank you! they were great when i saw them at the viper room. HOWEVER, they didn't take the stage until 12:35 a.m. i had shown up at the club shortly before doors opened at 9 p.m. (there was a duran duran tribute band before YC) so i was standing for almost four hours before yachtley crew got onstage. i had to leave before the band was even done with the show which bummed me out.

i emailed the viper room and yachtley crew to find out if the late time was a regular thing because if it was, i'll never see the band again at the viper room. never heard back from either entity. so beware if you go to the viper room to see yachtley crew, it may be a looooooooooooong night and you'll be annoyed.
