The Fat Dog is the newest restaurant and bar to join the NoHo Arts District neighborhood. Did you know The Fat Dog NoHo is the second outpost of the popular Fairfax gastropub? It fits right in the neighborhood, serving up classic comfort food from chef John Gladish, craft beers, with a large selection by the bottle and on tap, and a cocktail menu from star bartender Matthew Biancaniello. You have a great restaurant in WeHo. What made you want to open up the second restaurant in NoHo?
The NoHo Arts District is a vibrant, diverse neighborhood, with a large number of creative people within walking distance. We felt that they would enjoy what The Fat Dog offers. Great food and drinks, and unpretentious friendly atmosphere and service.
We like brunch and we love Happy Hour. What’s The Fat Dog got for the neighborhood?
Weekend brunch is from 10am to 3pm, and features comforting dishes like 'Chicken Fried Chicken', and Short Rib Hash. There’s a fantastic Bloody Mary, the ‘Fat Mary’ for just $5, one of the best bloodies in town. Happy Hour is Monday through Friday, from 3 - 7 pm in NoHo, and features a menu of tasty smaller bites from $3-7, and some beers starting at just $3, with well cocktails at just $5.

The Fat dog was named after the owners, Richard and Susann Mandeville’s bulldog, Luther, who can be seen in the original artwork in the bar.
