We do fun in many ways in North Hollywood and in many places, from theatres to bars, to studios to alleys.
Yes, the green alley fun continues with Summer Nights with Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) at NoHo Plaza August 5-26. During the month of August, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) will be in the NoHo Arts District on Saturday nights! Stop by NoHo Plaza for art projects connected with LACMA’s collection and exhibitions and enjoy a live DJ set. See below for the fun lineup of projects.
As always, summer NoHo Plaza events are free, and always fun.
This program is supported by a grant from The James Irvine Foundation.

Make a Scroll
Design a book that can be rolled up! Using paper and wooden dowels, assemble a scroll then add decorative and narrative materials. Inspired by LACMA’s collection of Japanese hanging scrolls.
Make a Flower-Fold Book
Also called an exploding book due to its jutting geometric structure, the flower-fold book opens into a dynamic and magical art piece. Inspired by artists who embrace geometry from LACMA’s collection.
