Devin Richards
Devin Richards was raised in
both Queens and North Carolina. This hybrid
northerner/southerner began using his
resonant deep voice at a young age as a
singer, actor and as an announcer for local
television. In his adult years he has
performed all over the U.S. and in Canada
and Europe, specifically London's West End,
Paris and Germany where he lived for several
years. After leaving Europe he immediately
began his Broadway career in the Tony Award
winning revival of "Carousel". This broadway
mainstay has appeared in principal roles in
"The Life", "Smokey Joe's Cafe", and
"Carousel", as the jazz singer in
Victor/Victoria, as well as five other
broadway shows. Throughout his career Devin
has had the pleasure of singing and
performing with Gladys Knight, Harry Connick
Jr., Marilyn Mae, Lou Rawls, Julie Andrews,
Rosie O'Donnell, Gloria Gaynor, Rick
Springfield, and Tony Orlando to name a few.
He is currently appearing in his ninth
brodway show, the broadway revival of "110
in the Shade" starring Audra McDonald at
Studio 54.
