My name is Sky (ID# A1358453) and I am at the East Valley Animal Shelter located at 14409 Vanowen St, Van Nuys.  I am a female, black and white Pit Bull Terrier. I am 11 months old and I want to live.  I love children and other pets and most of all I would love a Mom and/or Dad.

After a recent trip to Paris it dawned on me that I really didn't see any fat people the entire time I was there. Everybody was generally speaking; in pretty good shape. Maybe it's the pressure of living in the fashion capital of the world. I mean how else are you going to get those skinny designer jeans on?

The Religious Right is neither.

flat earth.jpg - 1.39 Mb

It has taken a few decades, but the evangelical Christians have succeeded in taking the Republican party hostage, thanks to greedy party leaders who will do anything for power and control, and thanks to the Tea Party, which may not all be religious fanatics, but because of their push to overthrow the government, have allowed themselves to be exploited by the Republicans right along with the kooky Jesus freaks.  The Republican party and Christianity are being driven off a cliff thanks to the greedy ambitions of the GOP party.
