“Ronnie Mack’s Barndance/The Radio Show is your one stop shop for all things Roots, Americana, and Country. Hosted by the legendary Ronnie Mack, its radio the way it used to be.

So kick off your Doc Martins, Tony Lamas, or your Converse and settle in for an hour of music, talk and fun!”

The show promotes traditional and alternative forms of American roots music. You will enjoy traditional country, rockabilly, traditional blues, rhythm & blues, doo wop, bluegrass and alternative forms of American roots music. In other words, this is music that you will never hear on commercial mainstream radio.

In studio guest interviews include
Pete Anderson – known for his guitar work with and critically acclaimed production of country music star Dwight Yoakam. He holds 5 Billboard #1 albums, 12 gold albums and 9 platinum albums. Among the artists he has produced are Roy Orbison, The Meat Puppets, Michelle Shocked, and Buck Owens.

Michael-Ann- winner of DisCovery of the Week Award from Music Row Magazine. This singer-songwriter has opened for music heavies Blake Shelton, Joan Baez, Judy Collins, Kenny Rogers, and Wanda Jackson.

Brian Whelan-His history includes playing with Chuck Berry and has been seen on stages across the nation with Dwight Yoakam, playing in the ‘cowpunk” pioneer’s Bakersfield-evoking band.

Tonya Watts- an accomplished, award-winning singer-songwriter is one of Reverb Nations top ten Los Angeles country acts. She has gained the country veteran alliances with such kindred spirits as Jamey Johnson, Deana Carter, David Allan Coe and Hank III.

James Intveld – In the early 1980’s this diverse artist and entertainer formed the popular rockabilly band James Intveld and The Rocking Shadows. He has played the Opry and Ernest Tubb’s Midnight Jamboree, toured with John Fogerty and was on lead guitar in The Blasters. He also wrote Rosie Flores hit “Cryin’ Over You”.
