David Browning is is a bit of a conundrum…he’s a doctor and a musician, not your usual pairing of careers that's for sure.

But it seems to work for him and the music is far from clinical.  It’s pure pop!  Unashamedly and unreservedly…all Sam Smith and Pet Shop Boys, Madonna and Erasure.  Lots of claps and stabby synths and gorgeous, spiraling, soaring rhythms and loops of sound.

It’s pop but not at all shallow and plastic and I love his voice, it’s soft and breathy, clear and full of life.  The lyrics are clever and sweet, “Just a boy taken over by a terrorist, it was nuclear desire.”  Classic and fun…and don’t we all need so much more of that these days?

The production is perfection.  Clear and light and gorgeous.  I love the vocal right up front, it’s all very Howard Jones. So many 80s references!  I just love it!  Turn it up and dance!

I think “Stay Over” is my new favorite song!!
