As you all know, parking in North
Hollywood’s Art District continues to become
increasingly harder. While it is a major
impact on business, it is also a sign of
success! However, without proper planning,
it can negatively impact the business
community. To that end, we are looking into
creating a strategic plan for parking. The
problem is that there is no easy fix and it
does take some planning and time. So, while
I still work on long term planning, I’ve
begun to investigate what we can do in the
short term to alleviate some of the parking
burdens.
To that end, we’ve begun a “pilot” program
of valet parking on Thursday, Friday and
Saturday nights and Sunday days with Regent
Parking, Inc. There are three locations for
this trial period:
1. Magnolia Street in between Lankershim and
Vineland
2. On Lankershim in front of Eclectic Café,
5156 Lankershim Blvd.
3. On Lankershim in front of Tokyo Delves,
5239 Lankershim Blvd.
Days and Hours (although subject to change):
- Thursday thru
Saturday – 7 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
- Sunday – 10 a.m. to 6
p.m.
$5.00 per car
The Community Valet Program allows someone
to park their car at any of the valet stands
and pick it up at another if one chooses.
This allows all of the NoHo Arts District
businesses to participate; giving their
customers better parking options and the
flexibility to go to dinner and a show or
workout and shop.
