Go Green And Go To The Gym!

Written by

I love food. I love eating food, thinking about food, eating more food, thinking again about food. Sadly, this appreciation has caused a real problem since moving into my second quarter century here on earth.

To combat the effects I have started going to the gym regularly.

I love to hate bananas. They’re not the fruit for me. I’ll say that until the day I die, but I have to admit that I love banana bread more than words. Don’t ask me how that happened. I just know these things to be true.

Dear Maddisen,

I get a lot out of reading your blogs. I have healthier control over my thoughts and feelings, and it helps me take better care of myself and my family. I feel more like an owner and less like a victim in life.  What do you do for your physical health? Do you exercise? Can you share something on that topic?  Thank you, HW

I can’t believe Starbucks did this!

Each day, under our own nose, there is a cost to the Starbucks habit. I am talking about something so innocent and naïve, we fail to see the harm it is doing to our pockets.

Eco-Friendly Beauty and Self-Care Alternatives

Written by

One of the hardest habits to break are the ones we make with our self-care regimens. Every body is different and reacts differently to the plethora of products that are out there for purchase today. It can be hard to find something that works. So, when you do, you tend to stick with it. This past year one of my goals was to find eco-friendly alternatives to the beauty products I use every day.

Travel Tips for a Go Green Holiday (or any day!)

Written by

Travel is stressful. Packing, long longs at security, flight delays, and unsavory seat neighbors.
