We have a recipe featuring peaches that we made months ago. Now is the time to replicate this recipe with the summer’s best, and fresh, peaches, but there are ways around that. Before we get there, let’s talk about our most recent peach dish–peach cobbler. It is one of our Southern favorites, but we included one small twist. It’s a small touch, but those are the elements that stand out the most, right?

This summer-perfect salad is just the right thing as we slide into berry season. We shared this recipe last fall, October 2012 to be exact, and even though it was a tad late at that time, it's very appropriate for today. Don't wait as long as we did to sprinkle a few blackberries over your favorite salad.

This past Saturday, Los Angeles celebrated the KCRW 4th Annual Good Food Pie Contest at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).  Chrystal and I won first place in the savory pie category a few years ago during the contest’s inaugural year, and we also entered the following year.
