Theatre Review - “Scrooge, The Musical”

If you need a real Christmas Fix, Don't miss “Scrooge, The Musical” at the Big Oak Theatre in Chatsworth. The musical is adapted from the Dicken’s classic, "Christmas Carol." This family holiday favorite transports you to 1860’s London to witness the transformation of “rotten old Scrooge.” What makes this theatre experience unique is the location. The theatre stands in a rustic farm setting that included some of the friendliest roosters and hens. I couldn't believe I was still in the city of LA.

I have been hearing about this hilarious improv group, House of Culture Comedy and I decided last week to check them out at the Whitmore Lindley Theatre. They were the most creative improv group that I am seen in many years. They were experts in long form improv which is not an easy technique. If one actor drops the ball, it makes the entire team look bad. It almost requires being able to read someone’s mind.
