‘Tis the Season To Be Thankful

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Countless families are cozying up in their decorated living rooms and kitchens, catching up and reflecting back on 2015. If you’re like my family, you definitely had the TV on during the cooking and commotion to tune in to festivities happening all over town. My personal favorite was Fox’s Thanksgiving episode covering their annual All-Star Dog Rescue Celebration, hosted this year by Kaley Cuoco.

It’s common knowledge that service dogs are incredibly helpful in the lives of those with physical disabilities.

Pet Detectives (also known as Pet Parents) should beware of a new trend of scams in the area. Whether it be one individual’s misleading adoption ad or a vet clinic with bogus charges, these scam artists prey on our vulnerability as pet moms and dads, and can risk the livelihood and health of our pets.

If you’re like me, you love a good story about a loyal, loving dog. So you probably saw Marley and Me and Max in recent years and grew up on the classics like Lassie, Hooch, Old Yeller, and even Lady and the Tramp.  Great books can turn into amazing movies, especially when they are true stories. So here is a list of 3 books that definitely need movie deals.

With the holiday weekend upon us, it’s time to prepare for the masses of people and their pets filling the streets, parks, and beaches to celebrate this great country and bask in the sunlight until the nighttime fireworks.

Losing a pet is one of the worst feelings ever. When emotions are running high, it’s our nature to resort to the quick, old fashioned ways to find our four legged loved ones.

Top Indoor Pet Outings

California winters are hardly annoying, but they are a tad bit cooler than the rest of the year. For those of us with tiny or short-haired, prone-to-be-cold pups, here’s a list of indoor playgrounds and activities for your pets!
