Fashion Unleashed “Barkfast at Tiffany’s” is a fashion show and brunch fundraiser on March 19, hosted by ABC7’s news anchor, David Ono, for Animal Hope & Wellness Foundation in hopes of raising awareness and funds to aid their rescued dogs from the dog meat trade across Asia.

This charitable event is being presented by Fashion for Profit, founded by Frances Harder, who is also the Founder/President of Fashion Business Incorporated (FBI); she is a respected fashion business educator and is currently consulting internationally. This event is also being presented by FortheLove Events, founded by Adrienne McNeal, with the purpose to assist events in ensuring the attention it needs is brought forth by the right team. Many of the team members are the elite of the Art Institute of California-Hollywood campus.

Fashion for Profit and For the Love Events have teamed up with the Animal Hope & Wellness Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization focused on rescuing abused and neglected animals. The organization rescues them, provides full rehabilitation services, and then works tremendously hard to find the perfect home for each one of the rescues. Apart from the local rescues, they also dedicate a large part of their time and resources rescuing dogs that are victims of the Asian Dog Meat Trade in Asia. This foundation aims to remove as many dogs as possible from the slaughterhouses and torture chambers where the use of cruel and barbaric methods are practiced to kill dogs in order for their “meat to taste better.”

Fashion Unleashed “Barkfast at Tiffany’s” Fashion Show & Brunch Fundraiser is an exclusive event where we are expected to see actress and author Carolyn Hennesy and other special VIP guests. The event is being sponsored by Paul Mitchell, Arbonne, Ai-Hollywood, Fashion for Profit, Jill Milan, Fashion Business Incorporated, and more!

This event combines fashion, doggies and charity that will take place in the Hilton Universal City, Sunday, March 19, 2017.  Animal lovers are encouraged to attend the event and raise awareness about this organization that is making a difference in the lives of many dogs. Join us for a vegan/vegetarian brunch inspired by "Breakfast at Tiffany’s" and you can expect incredible people and doggie fashions, charity opportunities, and of course, a chance to make a difference in the lives of many dogs.

Dudley was rescued from the Yulin Dog Meat Festival in Yulin, China where he was intended to be slaughtered and served as someone’s dinner. Thankfully Marc was able to negotiate for his life along with many others.  Dudley is full of personality and spunk!

Age: approximately 3 year old
Size: approximately 15 pounds

Brody was rescued from the Yulin Dog Meat Festival in China. He was definitely a stolen pet as most of the dogs that end up at the festival are. He was crammed into a tiny cage with many other dogs and traveled for hours to the slaughterhouse where  he was waiting to become someone’s dinner.

But he has put that behind him and is now a happy and healthy boy. He enjoys walks and toys. Good with kids and other dogs.

Male, Maltese
Age: approximately 9 years old
Size: approximately 7 pounds

Olaf is such a character. Rescued from horrific conditions in a South Korean slaughterhouse.  He had his eye kicked in and was utterly disgusting – covered in feces and urine. When he made it to the US we had his eye removed and neutered him. Poor thing. But even after all of that he is one of the most confident little dogs we have ever met. He isn’t afraid of anyone or any dog.

Female, Mix Breed
Age: approximately 2 years old
Size: approximately 20 pounds

Sunny was rescued from the Yulin Dog Meat Festival in June while she was pregnant. She had five beautiful babies but unfortunately, after a few months they became infected with distemper. Her son Peanut was the sole survivor. Sunny is a sweet girl and very good mother. She loves people and enjoys walks around the neighborhood.

Male, Corgi Mix
Age: approximately 2 year old
Size: approximately 20 pounds

Derrick was rescued from the Yulin Dog Meat Festival where he was being kept a slaughterhouse awaiting a cruel death all for the purpose to be someone’s dinner. He’s good with kids, loves people.
