After graduating college, Gabi Gregg, now a young blogger, was unable to find an entry-level job. Being that she was interested in Fashion Journalism, she decided she would make use of her time and begin expressing herself through a blog. Not only did she not have any experience in the industry, but she was also familiar with the lack of resources available to women sizes 14 and up, like herself. Against all odds, she decided to move forward with her blog, “GabiFresh.”
Avoiding “fashion rules,” and showing off her own personal style, she has now appeared in Good Morning America, The Today Show, Rip The Runway, Just Keke, and MTV VMAs, along with being featured in numerous mainstream magazines.
In 2008, while studying Interior Architecture in San Francisco, Aimee (Ah-Mee) Song began blogging, initially intended to showcase her interior design aesthetic. However, in between those posts, she began posting her personal style and daily outfits, which skyrocketed her following. Now both her blog following, along with her social media reach is each at or above 2 million. She now has her own jewelry line, "Song of Style," and her apparel collection, "Two Songs," which is manufactured here in Los Angeles. Her blog, "Song of Style," provides viewers an insight on her outfits, travel, interior deign projects, and more!
The 28-year-old Negin Mirsalehi is a Dutch blogger who is the owner and creative mind of Neginmirsalehi.com. She first began blogging after her social media took off.
After receiving her master’s degree, she knew she did not want a normal day-to-day job; she knew her calling was fashion, and she decided to follow it.
Her blog features fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, and it is my personal favorite!
