A/W 16 Global Key Trends

Hello, October! The Fashion Industry is one very fast-moving train; trends come and go before anyone even has time to restock their closets. But who’s complaining, right?

So here is a little sneak peak straight from the runways around the world, to ensure you stay trend savvy during Autumn/Winter 2016!

São Paulo

Coats are a definite must! They are a signature piece, and they have not only made a mark on the Brazilian runway but they are taking over your wardrobe this season. Pair it with anything, literally… denim, dresses, stilettoes, and even sneakers.

Red, a vivacious, striking colour that looks radiant on every skin tone has made its way back onto the Mexican runway… although I am positive it never left. Weather it is a flared skirt or a mermaid gown, it is assured to make you stand out this season.

The shoulders are coming out this season! The bare shoulders provides that flirty, yet conservative feel, that can be either dressed up or dressed down. Designers in Mina were quick to adopt this trend, and they have successfully pulled it off.

That is it for this trend update; I am off to buy myself one of each… until next time, trendsetters!
