Kanye West’s Season 2 NYFW

The anticipated Yeezy runway show got a lot of attention at New York Fashion Week.

On September 16, the last minute Yeezy Season 2 with front row attendees such as Lorde, Riccardo Tisci, the rest of the Kardashian clan and adorable 2 year old North West who was kept entertained by a lollipop this year, debuted a line that many of us will thank Yeezy for. The clothes look comfortable and practical if you’re into the grunge look.

Kanye got some criticism about this line but, in my opinion, the clothes and color story are pretty wearable. If we compare to last years' show we clearly see that Kanye has a futurist but wearable idea of where and what he wants his clothes to be. The color story consisted of tans, beiges and caramels, not to mention that he presented his line in color order for example all blonde models marched up in nude bodysuits while the darker skin toned models modeled the darker color clothes. I think his show was a success whether people criticize it or not, I think it’s wearable. The grunge look has crossed our paths many many times before and I think people will be buying Yeezy Season 2 whether it lacks in color or is a little too dystopian. Have fun!
